"Nobody is giving me what I want, so I'm going to go break everything (crash fights) and cry about it"
Really? I thought you guys would have learned that crashing has been driving people out of the clan world. I guess everyone's high school ego is still in tact. I come on here for the first time in years and all I see are topics about clans dying and crashing and stuff, what the hell guys? What happened to the days when you would just watch fights on a level 3 and loot? What the hell is this?
Trash talking on RSC is good fun and helps fuel rivalries. I'm all for rivalries. The most enjoyable fights I participated in on this game occurred when we fought our biggest rivals. Why were they our rivals? Not because they crashed us, but because they smack talked us - they thought they were better than us. We used it as motivation, not as means for retaliation, and that's what separated the clans I stayed in from the ones I bowed out of.
If you let your 13-year old puberty mood shifts impact your decision making and how you operate your organization (read: online gaming clan), then you're probably not suited to go out into the real world quite yet. Put your big boy pants on, sack the f*** up, stop fighting with each other like idiots, and start fighting like gentlemen. If you start doing that, you'll all enjoy the game a lot more, regardless of what clan you hail from. It'll help you grow on a personal level, as well.
I'm a computer science major. I don't know if you realize it, but when you DDoS someone, you're denying someone a service they pay for (teamspeak servers, forums, etc.) -- that's illegal just about everywhere. I'm surprised nobody has actually taken legal action against any of these RS DDoSer script kiddies. Maybe that's all it'll take for people to realize they're committing criminal acts to egg on a crash war in an online video game that's slowly dying off.
tl;dr Get a grip and save the clan world cause it's on you if you want to save it
peace out
