Re-watching some of my old vids from 06/07 and I came up with a theory:
The younger the average age of a clanner, the more enjoyable the clan world is.
I was 13 in 2006, and I think my inexperience/immaturity was what made it fun for me.
A 13 year old doesn't care about ddosing or leaking IRL pics from the clan he lost a war to.
The early teens method of dealing with beef by just declaring war and keeping it in the wild was simple and effective.
Oh, and we're used to respecting authority without question at that age, hence why the honour code worked.
Maybe that's one of the roots of today's clan world problems - we're all just too old for this game?
