Today, on February 7th, 2012, The Corruption Clan is closing its doors. From what started over 8 years ago has become one of the greatest clans ever created on this game. We have held the top spot multiple times, but more importantly we have been a home for many individuals over the years and we always, no matter what, stood the test of time. We have been a part of some of the greatest rivalries this game has ever seen. Through all the adversity, whether it be mass leaves, leadership changes, hacking, ddosing, crash wars, you name it - we always picked ourselves back up and pushed harder than ever to achieve what we set out to and keep the ship afloat. However, today, that era ends.
On to why we are closing.
It is a mixture of things, but primarily it comes down to the fact that we are all getting older and that drive to play is not there anymore. Having the time to commit to this game and and the interest level to play is not there or very little for most of us. We have no one to pass this clan down to either to try fixing this. We are at a point where we either try to keep going (and we honestly would if we felt we could) or call it a day. With a lot of discussion, we have agreed that closing now is our best option.
With that said, I would just like to thank everyone here. Leaders, members and friends and even our rivals, thank you. We have had many great times playing this game, the community, everything. You all have done so much for this clan and you should not feel ashamed that it has come down to this. It has been a pleasure to be a part of such a unique group of people. I hope you all can respect our decision to close and whether you move on with your life or decide to join another clan, speaking on behalf of the leadership, we wish you all the best.
Just so everyone here is aware, our Forums, TeamSpeak & IRC will all remain open.
