I decided to make some late night pre-Thanksgiving Nachos and they were delicious. I probably overdid myself a bit, but hey, I can always diet another day! Now for the main course; normally I'll add in some lame cooking pun but I figure ill ask a question worth roasting.
Have you ever gotten into a fight which left a certain taste in your mouth?
Pre Osrs: the clan world was new to me, I started to make friends, and haven't fully acclimated to the clan world. People did not outlast, but rather numbers and organization were the keys to victory. After a couple months in Fear, I had my first Official War against Valor. We maxed out our options, and I did not know what to expect. It was a it laggy but we the hype was real. My blood was pumping and the majority of our members felt the same. It was a matter of time after a sea of blue capes rushed in, we would still be standing, victorious.
OSRS: Recently, The Rising has just fought the Lithuanians. We really needed a victory, and our members felt like we needed something to prove. Not to the community, but to ourselves. The fight was off to a rough start, many of our members were still offline and our members were persistent, and eventually we not only out gained, we outperformed.
There have been many fights in which I've felt salty, but I'd rather share the stories of victory, sweet and satisfying. Believe or not, how toxic our community is, we should welcome the beef, however we will need to cook it!
