#CWLeague Newsletter - July Edition
Hello folks,
Firstly, I would like to give a huge shoutout to everyone who has supported, or been involved in any of the proceedings within the league. Without you, this show wouldn't have even got off the ground. I can not stress how important of an impact you have made. It's safe to say that when this was first created, no one knew how it would all pan out. A month on and dare I say it, the rankings have so far been a success and they are sitting relativity stable. A few clans have left, yet more have joined. We are now looking at future improvements to add to the dynamics, bring more enjoyment and expand further. Expect an action packed July!
I shall now outline the some of the tweaks and additions we intend to bring out over the course of the next month.
Staff team
As everything grows, it becomes more and more time consuming to run. A staff team is currently being assembled to help with the stability and longevity of the league. All staff will be picked on merit. We are always looking for intelligent, level headed, unbiased and hard-working people to join the team. This will hopefully lead to more innovation within the league also.
Teams allowed in the full outs
Anyone who follows the rankings will know that the full out category has been the quietest by a long way. Initially it was a clan only thing, but we are now changing that to allow teams. We're hoping to simulate some extra activity and get some interesting quality vs quantity match ups going.
P2p rankings
Since the start of the release of our f2p rankings, there has been high demand for p2p rankings of a similar nature. We are almost ready to release them and are looking to have them up and running come the end of next week at the latest. We are very excited to bring this new element to the rankings. Expect alot of teams and clans you might not have heard of or thought were up for it. Hopefully we're going to have a proper mixed bag.
Bridging the gap between RSC and RSB
This leads me onto my next point. We are always looking to expand and offer all our participants a large range of potential opponents. With that in mind we are looking at becoming a bridge of interaction between "lesser"/"newer" RSB clans and the RSC clans that we are all so used to. We will be creating a RSB page and trying to integrate some of these new boys into the scene.
Statistics and records
We are finally looking at creating an external website, which will store all sorts of data from the league. It will have a number of different ways in which the data can be viewed. Things such as league position over a time period, wins and losses, number of fights and some quirky ways of displaying data via the usage of different queries (possibly involving cross referenced databases and such).
In future editions of these newsletters I shall try and include a better recap of events within actually leagues. However, during this first month, a lot of the time was spent with clans and teams working their way into ranks more befitting of them. Next month's newsletter will featurev more inidepth analysis and tales to be told.
Until then!
