What's it Going to Take?

Clans have been relying entirely on recycling people back and forth from a shrinking pool of veterans for a while now. What is it going to take for more clans to do away with elitism and actually take the time to bring new people into clanning via junior clans/warring academy setups? Logic dictates that it's the only way forward, while the success of NB proves that it's viable.

There has been an upward trend of mainstream clans cancelling events due to only pulling 10-15. Meanwhile, NB is now capable of pulling 30s and will more than likely be pulling 40 in a month from now. NB will also be capable of giving RSC clans action soon (if they can pull enough to not have to cancel). Surely this ought to be a clear indication that in the current clanning climate, it's time for more clans to adopt a similar model to NB in order to grow. The exclusive veterans well is running dry. Time to find another source and to show PvMers, skillers and new players the ways of clanning, just as NB has been doing.

Why does the clan world persist in spiting itself? Taking the time to integrate and train up new people = bringing more people into the clan world. More people in the clan world = larger clans/more clans, more activity and eventually it would lead to different dynamics in the clan world.

How much longer until the clan world adapts to a new way of thinking out of necessity?
