Idk if its been suggested before or whatever so I still proceeded to post anyway.
So I was casually browsing these forums and came across this topic. http://forums.zybez....anned-from-rsc/ Even though it's a rule from the CJ tourney if fights did ever occur in the wilderness, it seemed to be a popular decision. (+37 rep, it might not matter, but it's a positive reaction at least)
I then started to think how the amount of crashers/randoms turning up to snipe clans are growing fairly quickly. It's immature and out of game spirit because some people take their online ego too seriously. We can't expect Jagex to ever cater to the "dead clan world" but the least we can do is give it a better reputation. Since the main reason people turn up to ruin a clans fight is humiliate them on these very boards and be happy that they played a good role in it all. From there on, slight banter gets turned into flames, personal insults and disrespectfulness. It turns late teenagers/early 20+ year olds into little children who isn't allowed to stay up after their mother told them to go to bed. It's no wonder alot of the RSB are put off from getting involved with RSC.
My suggestion is, why can't we start banning crashers off these forums? I know it's not a permanent fix, I know people will use their spare accounts secretly and get away with it but it's better than nothing.
The same goes when clans get involved in crashwars. All they want to do is get a 1-up on each other and then proceed to "humilate" them off some lousy clan fight topic full of baits and flames. My other suggestion is to disallow clans to have topics representing themselves during a crashwar until it is over.
Edit - I also want to suggest that if a clan does crash a planned fight, they'd be disallowed a topic representing them for a certain period of time.
I know it won't solve much, but at least the clan world might have a better public image.
