I recall back to 2003 after I had played RS for a couple of years.
On community forums, you would see names such as Damage Inc, The Dynasty, RSD, Black Knights, Anarchy, The, etc...
They were at the pinnacle of Runescape itself. For most people like myself, joining a clan like that was just a dream. Everyone wanted to be a part of it, but hardly anyone had the levels or PKing ability to actually do it.
I always wonder - do noobs nowadays look at clans like ours and think the same kinds of things? Or is RS so inflated with maxed out characters, that the novelty of clan combat is dead?
I look at the current top 10 and wonder if any noobs right now will see DF/TT/EOS/VR etc in the same light in a few years as we saw DI/RSD/TD etc in 2003.
