Jagex has successfully convinced the 2 Leaders of TK, EMI - Chrome and KTV, too close their clan.
Today the seventh of November THE KINGS have decided to lay down their axes and put their helmets for good in their closets. We as a clan didn’t strive to be the best or impress others, our prime target was to have fun and to do whatever we want. And I believe we achieved this target of ours.
I would like to describe our members as heroic, courageous, strong warriors. We sat on our horses like men and we looked good the way we wielded weapons. As KTV once said, you can take their horses but you can’t take away their warrior spirit. The kings wasn’t just a runescape clan. We see ourselves as knights, a force of justice sent from the heavens to defend the good and the honorable. We ride out in the black dangerous wilderness for the last time, we will not look back as our future lays forward. We will enlighten the darkness that confronts us and will defeat the entities that threaten us. To our brave warriors and friends who stood to defend THE KINGS, I salute you. To our enemies in runescape, may you burn in hell - many of you will.
If all the oceans in the world were ink and all the trees were pens, the ink would run up before everything that could be said about THE KINGS would be said. The way we warred, the way we transitioned, they we demoralized our enemies, the way we moved, the way we danced, everything. Strong fierce fearless members - this is how TK will be remembered. To those who laugh at us, hiding in their cave, somewhere in their basement. I say to you, the brick walls that surround you may protect you for now, but in the end your own incompetence will consume you.
The way TK was built and structured is different from any clan that has participated in this clan warring community. It started out as a group of friends that decided to mass recruit and turn as many of these mass recruits into amazing clan pkers. We recruited from GE Edge1v1 Cwars Barb Draynor Varrock and trained many of these civilians into soldiers. I remember our officials trying to convince new members to get TS3 who thought they were about to get hacked, or telling them about forums which they also thought was some sort of hacking tool. Amazingly our founders, mainly StarMoonSun/Lips, were able to convince many people to join the army. Our best pull was 80 and over summer there wasn't a weekend we didn't pull 50+. Our community though, built on unexperienced warrers, was amazingly fun.
Clan Blue Prints: Now that we are closed we can release these to the public.
The Kings - PK Clan
The Goal:
Create an amazing PK clan with a great community. The clan's main focus will be F2P PKing, meaning wars that occur in F2P will be mandatory. F2P PK trips will also be mandatory however, there will also be some F2P PK trips that will be non-mandatory until we get into a fight, once we are in a fight the PK will become mandatory as it is no longer a PK but an F2P war. Events that occur in P2P whether they be PK related or just fun events are all non-mandatory.
The Plan
Mass recruit millions and turn as many of them as we can into Clan PKers.
Phase 1: Mass Recruit
- Mass Recruit as many members as possible.
Phase 2: TS
- Get as many recruits as we can to get TS3. This is a slow process and extremely difficult. It requires PMing people one by one and explaining why TS is necessary and how to get it. Spamming the CC with "go to teamspeak.com" will only lose members. Explain why first then say "all members go to teamspeak.com to get audio for clan." Then PM them.
Phase 3: Forums
- Members who get on TS3 are more likely to get on the forums. They see reason to because they feel more a part of the community than those that are not on TS. These members will be the core of this clan.
Phase 4: IRC
- Get members that have TS3 and Forums on IRC. Many clans use IRC and their members will visit our IRC channel and be able to chit chat with ours. A friendly IRC can get a lot of recruits who already know about TS3 and Forums, experienced PKers. Also when we start setting up wars more frequently IRC will help clans find a way to ask us for a war and it will help us find them to get wars.
Phase 5: Cleaning the CC
- Getting rid of useless members.

Recruits - Do not have TS3. Add these people befriend them and convince them to get TS3.
Below Lieutenant - Do not have TS3, gave excuses when asked to get TS3.
Lieutenants - Have TS3
Captains - Have TS3
Generals - Senior members or ranks, have TS3, should have forums or have been in the clan since the beginning.
Admin and above - Higher ranks and officials

Closure:
Thanks for all the memories Clan World. Was definitely a lot of fun. Our clan has decided to play SWTOR (http://www.swtor.com/). After the Disney purchase of Lucas we expect to see good improvements to this game. The wars started in the Wild but we were destined for Stars.
