Clan Europe Tournament 2013

Welcome to the
Clan Europe Tournament 2013!

In 2010 our member Krist originally came up with an idea for CE to hold a large scale clan tournament. H A Richards and Gaz put in tremendous work and successfully organized and led the tournament with help from members that applied for the positions of Tournament officials.

Earlier this year, we started to receive requests that we should remake this tournament. Staff discussed it through and concluded that it would allow more action to occur as well as contributing to the cause that is keeping our small clan world alive. Therefore we are happy to announce that Clan Europe Tournament will be held again this year 1^st of February.

The main layout of CET will remain the same. Senior clans, Country clans and Teams are all welcome to participate. CET officials have decided that Clan Europe will not participate to ensure fairness and justice in every situation as much as possible.

We differentiate from CJ and Jagex Cup as they use the standard knockout element, while our tournament is designed similarly to the football World Cup style, where clans are divided into groups in a category and have to fight everyone in their group. They will receive points for a win and the two clans with most points will advance from the group stage and qualify to the next round. This guarantees that no one is knocked out straight away and creates more action.

However categories have been adapted accordingly to EoC and to what most clan are able to pull in the present clan world scene. They are the following:

• 15v15 Ranged Only
  
• 15v15 Magic Only
  
• 20v20
  
• 30v30
  
• 40v40 (20+20 v 20+20)

The organizers of the tournament are both ranked and non-ranked members in Clan Europe. They are divided into two categories; Tournament Leaders and Tournament Officials. All tournament organizers will be available for questions in our IRC Channel for Clan Europe Tournament; #CET.

We hope that every clan will enjoy the way this tournament is uniquely presented and the variation of fights it allows. In addition, we wish that this competition will act as an incentive to clans for glory, competition and fun.
