Since RuneScape 2007 came back, many clans decided to reopen and many old players went back to the game. Everyone started to train all the skills again, get money for war supplies, returns, etc etc etc...
Basically, it was like a reborn, but I was wondering about the recruitment and the application process some days ago... Did YOUR clan changed all the process to accept new members? And I do not mean just reduce combat level (this is obvious lol), I mean somethings like: The number of events needed, or some amount of days as an FA, reffers, gears, tank lessons (L0L COR), TS/IRC and other specific requirements to be accepted in your clan, which changes from clan to clan and community to community.
The main reason to me ask this is the currently number of options the clans are pulling. I know that clan world is not the same and I doubt he will come back to its glorious days, but there is a lot of clans with low number of members and only few "new blood".
Back in time, clan requirements were not so complicated and people could easily join a clan. Since clans started to put some high and specific requirements, new players were not interested in join a clan, they decided just to join an open cc whenever they wanted to pk or go to a clan fight in clw (this happened in the same time Jagex updated rs a lot and old players decided to quit the game because they disliked theses updates such wilderness removal, clan wars, etc).
Of course, this is my opinion, so that's why I ask you, since I'm currently clanless:
* When I say "new people, new players, new blood", I mean players that never joined a clan before, and not players that started to play months ago, I know that 90%+ of currently players in 07 are old schools, but many of them never used to be a part of any clan.

- Do you think that clans should reduce their exigency so that new players can join easily?
