To start off, I'd like to give big props to those who still actively participate in alliances. Big +++ for those who are still together after all these years.
Lately I've been looking around Clan Fights & Events and have noticed an increase of teaming due to clans being outnumbered, outmatched, or whatever reason people wish to use.
Before the removal of the wilderness, I remember alliances being a popular thing. If clan A couldn't beat clan B, they'd call their allies to aid them into battle. This in return would give clan B a better fight while giving both clan A and allies a chance against clan B. Now it seems to be frowned upon because of the low amount of clans who actively participate in alliance events and/or fights.
Although my clan isn't in an alliance, it would be nice if we were. With the low amount of recruits the general clan world has been obtaining, smaller clans seem to have trouble being able to find decent fights and having successful PKing trips. Either it be spur or prepped, the average pull of clans have dropped drastically giving less and less higher option fights.
I remember back when a clan I use to be in was allied with WG and honestly, even though we both pulled low, we all had fun with what we did. It's the point of the game... To have fun. It brings in competition, gives clans a more diversity of who they can fight and I think it really does get rid of a majority of problems we seem to face in today's clanning. A main problem being a lack of activity in the clan world. If there's a lack of members in the clan world, then it's time to make it so where more fights and trips are possible again in numbers we wish to see.
However, I can see one of the main reasons being past beef. With a low amount of clans left, and histories still intact, it is complicated to make an alliance work. Even if they last for a short amount of time, it's still an effort to increase activity of everything around you.
Note: If all you're going to say is this will do nothing but bring problems and issues, at least state why. This is a discussion area afterall!
Edit: Added in 2 extra questions.
Edit2: Can a mod please delete the specific clan related things? This wasn't the intentions of the post.
