Multi-Clanning & Teams

Today it seems more acceptable by most to multi-clan or join teams than it once was. Being part of a clan and a team is essentially multi-clanning as you're participating in events from different groups. You can make an argue otherwise, but there's obviously reasons you're doing it. Perhaps you can't find a clan that suits you best so you choose to remain clanless while being in a 'team'. Maybe your clan doesn't fight enough to satisfy your hunger. It could even be that your clan doesn't actively P2P PK so you've joined a PK team.

Many of these teams that exist today could be among the mid-sized ranks, but they're still only teams consisting of members from various clans. Some of the more popular teams being Team Trinity and Vitality, both of which I have friends in from DI. There may even be some members of these teams who are clanless and only participate in their team's events.

Basically joining teams has become a cop out for joining a clan or trying to push your clan out of their comfort zone. Instead of F2P clans trying to branch a bit and be the best at both F2P & P2P they mass join P2P teams. Likewise for the P2P clan/teamers that enjoy the F2P action they don't get frequently enough joining some of the CWA teams.

Are you in a PK/CWA team as well as a clan? Why or why not?
I'm currently only in Damage Incorporated because it offers a happy medium of both F2P and P2P. In my past clans I was adamantly against P2P PKing, but once I joined DI and began PKing I realized how enjoyable it actually is. A couple of good kills can change your perspective of everything. I never expected to really gain much P2P PKing because I thought it was expensive and pointless. Only after a couple of tridents, multiple Verac's helms, along with a few krakens and abyssal whips did I really change the way I looked at P2P Pking. There's no real reason for me to join any other team because I'm satisified with what DI has to offer. Personally I'd like to see more clans created to join the ranks instead of these teams. More clans attempting P2P as a group would be nice as well.
