The Clan Wars Classic arena has been a longstanding request from many clan members. It was a favourite of many players that used Clan Wars in RuneScape 3 so it only felt fitting to offer the arena in Old School. Before heading back to university, Mod Alfred spent some time looking over old videos and screenshots to re-create the beloved arena.
During the Clan Wars era the CWA classic map was the most popular map to fight on. The boundaries were usually in the middle between the four walls and melee+binds wars were more common because of the small boundaries. The walls are great for tanking along with the lava vents and skeletons.

It took a month or two for them to take action and release it after Mod Alfred said he had it done, but luckily it passed its poll and finally made its way into the game. It should make Clan Wars more enjoyable and perhaps even a few new CWA teams will be created. The Turrets map is far too repetitive and The Plateau offers nothing to tank around. All of the other maps are constructed poorly in my opinion.
I'm looking forward to fighting here again. Perhaps even some melee+binds wars instead of all styles like in the past.
