Hey everyone, the name is Tsunami, and I'm here to propose an idea.
As everyone knows, most of us are aware life is continuing on, and little by little we are unable to spare time for RS like we once did. It's hard to "Outgrow" RS, for there will always be memories/friends that you're glad you've met because of Runescape. And as for myself, clanning/warring was THE most fun I've ever had in RS. Even getting an Elysian Sigil paled in comparison to the joy I got from warring, even when losing it was still fun as hell..just the sheer energy/competetion alone you could spend HOURS off that "high"...
Anyways, in sum, we all know what is forthcoming. There have always been updates, and though I don't even know any of the new armours that are in the game, I always knew that we had our same warring system, the good ole familiar tactics etc. But...sadly the ways in which I've known for over 7+ years is changing, forever...Never again to be seen or played, and quite honestly it saddens me considering the memories and the countless of inactive friends I know that are going to quit for good...including myself.
So upon the realization, I came up with an idea. The Apocalytpic War.
Which is.... the week before the "Grand Combat Update" Let's have an unparalled battle royale that Runescape has EVER seen. Let's come together for the BIGGEST WAR that has ever been held in history.
Perhaps if everyone likes the idea of enjoying the last week of warring before you can never again the same, let's have an entire week where everyday 10-20 clans go out to honor/enjoy the final countdown the day until the clock strikes midnight upon us. And of course, to go out with the FINAL bang, the Saturday before the announced update, I want to see EVERY clan in RS's Existence to come forth one LAST time and war like it's 2005 or whatever year you enjoyed the most!!! Call/text/e-mail/skype any and all old rs buddies and bring them :D
PS - Within a week of posting our topic, TNC has already about 42 Yes's, and growing for this event, so request off work, do what ya got to for just one last chance to relive the memories that made you once truly enjoy the game, so go to your clan forums, whether they're dead or active or w\e and just post a topic seeing if they would like to mass up for one last time to see they're old rivalry clans again and fight them.
