7 Years - Where Amazing Happens
13th August 2005 was the date when our clan was created by Death240 & Schol [& Veseble]. I'm not going to go too much details into how it happened and whatnot because you can find our clan history [here], but what I can & will tell you is that the road was never easy, and it wasn't meant to be easy.
There's no doubt in my mind that what we achieved in this game will be remembered forever by those who witnessed our success over the years. Sure, there have been some tough times - but as I previously said, being in a sucessful clan requires you to go through those times and that'll shape you individually & collectivelly forever, for the better that is. This clan is nothing without its members, and what holds us together is our passion & our love for the clan. Each of us holds an importance for the clan, that is why we are still around after all. RuneScape perhaps hasn't been the most attractive game over the past years, but we've sure done a damn well job to make the game interesting with our presence. I also don't need to prove such, we know we have done this when there is attention given to our clan daily by outsiders.
We have been an active clan for 7 full years, and that's hell a lot to be proud of considering the obstacles we had to face. 7 years of active forums, IRC, TeamSpeak & of course active RS activity. The changes given to our clan shaped our clan in many ways. I'm not just talking about the game changes, I'm talking about the all sorts of changes. However, I'm proud to say that we've done our best to adapt to the situation given, and we will keep doing that until we're literally not able to. Jagex is planning to release a new combat system come September or so, we won't give up unlike others - we're going to stay there strong and adapt to the new fighting style. The ability to adapt and not give up is what made us successful in the long-run.
I could go on and talking about how important it is for us to embrace every moment we spend with DF. However, the main point of this topic is to celebrate our 7th years birthday. I'm just going to leave off with thanking all the members who have joined DF in the past 7 years. Doesn't matter if you joined in 2005 or 2007 or 2012, if you contributed to the clan in some way or another then you're worth of thanking for and being recgonized. Shoutouts to all of our rivals - it was fun most of the times.
