Actual Revival And Longevity

Yes it's me Clan Killer Jd, spastic can't call 9993, flames, boxhead, skinny guy 188. Now we're over that hurdle.

Feel free to skip my random speech saying don't join the top 3, make your own teams/group together and head to the question at the bottom.

Everyone is constantly going on about how the clan world isn't going to survive and the fact will be lucky to get a year out of the game and blah blah blah blah. But the problem is it's our mentality, this desire to be ' Number One ' etc. The fact that for some reason people have decided that this game is only fun if you are the clan pulling one million people to every trip.

The fact is especially as far as F2P is concerned, it's going to be ROT/DI/VR with maybe clan's like DF/EOS tipping around the edges. But apart from that for the length of the clan world's healthy existence or atleast the for-seeable future they will be the top 3.

And the problem is because people have decided it's compete for #1 or the game isn't fun at all which is completely illgoical, all the experience and wealth of the game have piled into the already huge clans to become +3 opts.

But the problem is and it's no dig at the top flight but they only have each other to fight and eventually one of the three will become more dominant and the other two will become less active and plan a 6 month quest of snake tactis to come out on top, so you've almost placed a bet and hoped that the clan you picked will be the lucky one.

But the thing is it really isn't hard to find 3-4-5-6 experience head's, say  lets give it ago find 20-30 members and start getting fights. But everyone has decided if they're not going to be #1 then whats the point? That's like every footballer saying Champions League football or do-one, it can't work.

Not only that but if the experience of the clan world started pulling together, you could generate into the ten's of clans. Because you've also got to remember that the P2P clan world isn't really alive and the F2P clan world isn't exactly huge, so alot of people are holding out clanless because of the lack of options. Why not make your self that option?

Not only that but if you are one the weaker clans that just never hit the ground running and have 20 dedicated faces that have experience, why not find another clan or two clans say  'B + C' and try group together and make a competitive team with a wealth of experience

And as a collective clan world who in all honesty, want this to be as succesful as possible and have as much blood as possible. Why aren't the larger clans saying will support fresh blood and even nuture it? ACing etc might not be fun but it always leads to action anyway.

First of all my main point:
We waited - 6 years - for the return of the 07 based wilderness, six years. The majority of us have gone through the whole of high/secondary school, through Uni/College and now into full time jobs yet we've still waited for this game after going through that life-cycle. Between ourselve's we've had thousands of conversations in IRC/TS/VENT about what we would of done had this happened, granted we would of all liked it to of happened years earlier but that isn't the point. And all we've all decided to do was stick to our guns, stick to the same mentality that killed the clan world the first time. The growth of this game isn't based on what Jagex now put into it, we've got what we need the 07 eco and combat system, It's up to us to build a house on the foundations they've given us. So how after 6 year's of waiting, wisihing we had our dream childhood game back, are we willing to waste the oppurtunity? Do you really want to turn these beautiful foundations, into a London Council Estate Community center? We all made bad decisions the first time round, now we're deciding to invest time and money, into making them again at a much faster rate, when they'll be no 3rd chance.

Questions of the topic

(On Record I have nothing against the clans in the top three at all).
1. Do you think on the basis of longevity it makes sense to pile into the top three?

2. Do you think now we're months into the game it's likely more clans will open?

3. Could you see yourself opening a team/clan?

4. Would you support new-teams/clans that open?
