The Wilderness Guardians met up in Sydney this past weekend.
We took the opportunity to meet up while I was back in Australia in between my years of study in London.
It was attended by myself, Elyxiatic, Dat Zemus, Raging Mage2, Anatcrafter and Flame Reece.

Day One

We really just got together in the evening, at around 8:00pm.
I'd already been working on dinner, which was my typical Game of Thrones meal.

After that we played a game of Moose/Kings/Cup of Death/Circle of Death/Ring of Fire. Pick your name for it... you know the one.
This is the moment of me pulling the last king.

Contents: Mulled Wine x 3, Beer, Vodka and Water, Bacardi Breezer (lol), Vodka Shot, Jameson's and Coke

After that, we went to Bondi beach, but only two of us were brave enough to get into the water at 2:00am, not because of the rip tides and lack of people, but the water was very cold.

Day Two

The next day didn't really start until the afternoon, not surprising really.
We went Paintballing that afternoon... indoors. Got plenty of footage of us in action playing various rounds.
To make this an extra special event and in the spirit of our meetup, we had to target each other using RSNs, and PKing terminology.

After that, we had to split our various ways in the evening.
Elyxiatic and I went to a performance of Verdi's Requiem at the Sydney Opera House.

We all met up back at the house late at night, exhausted from paintball and the evening's activities, pledging an early night so that we could get up at 6:30am for some kayaking.

Day Three

As I just said, we had some kayaking today. Three and a half hours of it.
We paddled around Sydney harbour.
The others took to it very easily, but I was a typical Asian and could not steer.
I found out near the end that the difficulty I was having was because I didn't set up my kayak right.

THEN, we walked for an hour to find a pie shop, apparently the best meat pies in Australia.
They were certainly awesome, but the boys did NOT enjoy being tricked into walking...
"Oh it's only 20 minutes from here... 10 more minutes... no, 10 minutes starting from now... etc."

We went home, recovered for a bit, then played another game of Kings/Death/Cup/Fire/Moose.
I don't actually remember whether or not we finishe it... but the proceedings of the evening went down like this.

The Night of A Thousand Regrets

The next day we parted ways, and vowed to meet again in a year's time.
Maybe Bali, or Thailand, or New Zealand, or even my home town of Perth.
Who knows?
All I know is that this won't be our last meeting.
