How Would Clan Wars/bh Change The Clan World?

The pure clan world seems to be in support for Clan Wars, while the mains are vehemently against it. Bounty hunter goes both ways for the community but it has a huge impact on PvP overall.

Why Only Pk Clans
Having been a old school reader of RSC I have seen that RSC is almost only for Pk clans... I was wondering some questions about that as there is a whole load of trypes of clan but none have managed to spread out to other sites.
Staking clans are going to be the new pvp clan. People are more excited to watch the fights and some of my twitch streams get over 20 viewers which is quite a good number when I can't advertise on our RSOF thread... Both clans have the same goal : Make money and don't lose much. But why do it with small 200k sets when you could do it with mils or bils?
There are also other types of clan:
Castle wars - Probably the most impressive clan in regards to tactics and teamwork
Arena Clans - High Risk and high intensity only for the most bold members
Skill clans - For those who like skilling
DoD clans - For the minigame lovers
Explorer clans - For those with a bit of courage
So why is it that Pk clans are thriving more on Zybez than other clans which offer more options and higher skill caps?
Would you ever consider another type of clan?

Calling Ex-Wg Members For Our 10 Year Anniversary
It was actually on December 6th 2013 that WG turned 10, but I was unfortunately too busy to hold proper celebrations.
It being such a milestone, I'm calling on all members who were in WG and enjoyed their time with us to come back to our forums and partake in the festivities this coming weekend. Not that I should have to resort to bribery, but there are modest IRL prizes in some of our events. You'll need to request ex-member rank on our forums in order to get all the anniversary info.
For everyone else, just thought you should know that we made it to 10 years and that even though we're sort of excluded from the day-to-day considerations of this community, we'll support PKing in whatever capacity we can, hopefully for another 10 years!

Expanding Our Clan World
I had a proposal for an idea a few months ago, written down and everything, but it never took off.
My idea was to combine the RSC and OSRS clan worlds together. But hear me out...
The purpose of it is to 1) bridge the gap for a more universal clan world, 2) increase action, and maybe even more. There are a whole lot of benefits for both sides if you think about it.
How I wanted to achieve this was, very specifically, to make a warring ladder that also included clans from RSC on RSOF by working with certain RSB clans and powers. After that, by copying the same ranking/ladder/rating system (note they are three different things) to here, we would make a "universal" clan world. RSB and the RSOF can be a starting point for newbies in the clan world, kind of like a tutorial island for here, RSC. That isn't to belittle the RSB community, either. This would bring in new blood for us. Whether this would be good or bad is up for you guys to decide, but at this point I'm sure we're open to something new. There's nothing we have to lose.
Why RSB? Other than our community, the RSOF is the only other place where there's a PvP clan community; for the wilderness in OSRS, and then for CWA for RS3. Unless you can tell me some others...

Return Of W141/clan Wars?
This idea is the only one I can think of that can actually bring in the recruits to the clan world and increase clan activities. Well this may be another topic about saving the clan world but please keep the hate on Lordship's topics (I'm sure you all hate him more then me, but it may not be the case after reading this topic). The idea is to convince MOD MAT K to bring clan wars/w141 back but before I must be able to convince you to help me convince MOD MAT K. There is 2 part of this topic:
i) How would Clan wars/w141 be helpful?
ii) Why would Clan members from different clans may/may not want it.
All of us started clanning somewhere. The part of us that made us want to be in a bigger clan was the aspect that we loved to fight other players in a team. Like 3 of us vs 5 of them or w/e the odds until we joined a big clan and actually like it. Now, it's hard to normally find people with this passion of fighting in small teams around runescape which makes it difficult to ask them "Would you want to join a clan for warring?". Currently, only minigame I can think of is castle wars, and it's pretty dead. So, with return of w141, there will be more people battling it out, and that's where we will head to in order to bring in fresh blood to the clan world.
The other reason clan wars can increase clan activity is that, as of now the clans only fight on Sundays and its a cluster of around 2 hours. This will give smaller clans/teams to fight without getting crashed and increase more activity. Don't tell me that Clan wars right now won't increase clan activity, since as of now clan world is already pretty much dead so even a bit will help clans fight. Yes a few months ago, I would have said we don't need any teams, but now we all know that we need more wars and action and teams will bring it for sure.
So please, I have 1 request forget about whatever happened in the past. Present is what matter, we need new blood and we need the w141 to bring it. We need more wars/actions and we need the clan wars to bring it.

I'm from a new gaming publication and the Runescape Clan World has been of interest to me for years now. From the Golden Age of Clan's to the now "Dark" Age of clans, there has been an up and down mix based on the flux of the game itself. I am asking all of you in regards to related topics on the "demise" of the clan world to give feed back towards this following idea:
Could the Runescape Clan world revamp and revive if there were new forms of tournaments for all clans. If Clans could battle in different ways other than PvP for overall might could the clan world see a different style of revamp that could spark growth in more clans?
or
If Jagex revamped the clan war arena to expand it or mimic the wilderness layout that is common in the 07' clan PvP fighting area to eliminate crashing, would clans fight for the camera so to say. With the invent of twitch.tv etc would you fight?
If partners got together to offer big time rewards past what Jagex Cup could give would that work?
What are your thoughts?

With people like Sparc Mac, Chris Archie, B0aty, Bonesaw, etc with thousands of thousands of subscribers, could they improve the current state of clanning?
Whether it be Main Clanning or Pure Clanning they could.

Some of the highlights of the Rejuvenating the Wilderness poll results associated to Clan world/PKing are;
- Fountain of Rune will be added to Maze area east of new gate.
- 3 New Rune Rocks will be added to Ice Plateau.
- God wars creatures will be added to Wilderness.
- Run energy icon near the minimap toggle your Run Mode setting when you click it.
- Quick Prayer's will be added to prayer icon on the minimap.
- Wilderness is being upgraded to Basic level as mentioned on dev blog "Rejuvenating the wilderness". Click here to read it or look at the picture of the whole update here.
- Wilderness ditch will not be removed.
- Revenants creatures will not be added to wilderness.
- Players will not be able to attack other players in a single way combat area even if either are currently in combat with an NPC.

Legacy Mode & Clanworld
So jagex just added a poll for a combat mode called 'Legacy mode'. Basically it allows you to use either old combat or EoC in RS3, meaning you can use special attacks again, no action bar, and no abilities. It will have the old interface as well.
Jagex said that the details of how it works will be based on what the community wants and they expect a beta of this mode to be ready in 2 months.

Legacy Combat
Don't really know 100% how this is going to work, but they are having a poll for rs3 about having the option to bring back old school combat along side having the other option of using eoc abilities. The main point on this topic was they are starting to listen and don't want to split the communities up. Like I said I don't know how it 's going to work exactly but if clans can follow rules like a capped pkri or sniper caps and etc, I'm sure a rule can be added about no EOC abilities during a war assuming clans went back to this. On the plus side F2P and fresh blood. I know Mod Mat K has been working hard with us recently about wilderness changes, Rs3 staff should've listened just as hard as him tbh. Because the negatives are these new items/attack modes/special attacks that were never needed in this game.
